Renowned Japanese entertainer Takuya Kimura has unveiled plans for his “Takuya Kimura Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint,” featuring his inaugural solo performances outside Japan. These landmark concerts are scheduled for November 13 and 14 at the Taipei Music Center, marking his first venture onto international stages as a solo artist.
The tour will encompass nine shows across five cities, starting from September 9 and concluding on November 23. In addition to the Taipei concerts, Kimura will perform in Hyogo, Fukuoka, and Chiba within Japan, as well as in Seoul. The Taipei dates hold particular significance, coinciding with Kimura’s 54th birthday on November 13, thereby enhancing the celebratory nature of these overseas shows.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Kimura has also disclosed plans to release a new album titled “Checkpoint” this summer.
